From the art of drawing to the lines drawn on the waves. A longboarder and coach specialized in building the foundations of surfing, Janaína is the youngest daughter of the family and one of our main references when it comes to longboarding.
Her work combines technique, lightness and wave reading to help each surfer build a smoother, more mindful and more confident style of surfing.

The eldest daughter is the one who drifted a little away from the waves and found her place taking care of everything that happens around them.

No. Surf Family's Beginner program is for people who are just starting out or can't yet surf on their own. Your coach stays with you in the water for the whole session, working on paddling, take-off, safety, line-up etiquette and wave selection.
Sunscreen, swimwear, and a towel. Surf equipment is included.
Definitely! In summer, we run Kids classes, designed especially for children with a teaching approach different from the one we use with adults. Classes are open from age 6, as long as the child can already swim. For children under 10, we ask that a parent or guardian stay for the entire class.
Surf Family lessons last 1.5 hours: about 30 minutes of theory and 1 hour of practice in the water, with your coach throughout the session.
The Surf Family team speaks Portuguese, basic English and basic Spanish, which also makes it easier to welcome students from abroad.
A single lesson at Surf Family costs between R$145 and R$160, depending on the option you choose. There are also monthly plans at special rates for Florianópolis residents.
For students living in Floripa, we offer monthly packages at special rates. Payment works as a subscription, charged automatically to your card (or Pix, if needed). You book the available classes during the month around your own schedule.
